MAINTENANCE TRAINER SUPERVISOR

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Responsible for managing the maintenance training program, including developing and implementing a training schedule for all maintenance personnel. The Maintenance Trainer will facilitate a structured training program consisting of training modules, hands-on lab work, and field training. This role will track the progress of each team member and provide appropriate feedback to employees, management, and union representatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manage the maintenance training program, instructing and assisting all new maintenance employees in demonstrating mechanical competencies.
• Provide feedback to new team members, supervisors, and management regarding training progress.
• Monitor each new employee during their qualification period to ensure hands-on training and comprehension.
• Develop and maintain lab equipment and classroom facilities.
• Conduct classroom training for new maintenance hires and annual retraining.
• Schedule and oversee level skills training.
• Direct workforce assignments for the day.
• Administer safety training for new employees and ongoing safety programs for maintenance team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Engineer.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead others toward achieving personal and plant goals.
