Job Description
Deliver Driver (Non-CDL)
We are in search of a Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for transporting and delivering products to designated customers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Completes delivery of customer's orders as outlined by the delivery ticket.
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
- Conveys products and materials from truck to customer's designated storage areas.
- Follow routes and time schedules.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Complete logs and reports.
- May be requested to work in the warehouse on occasion.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of delivery experience
- 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Meet all FMCSR requirements regarding driver qualification
- Pass DOT Physical Exam
- Ability to pass a Road Test
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to push/pull and lift up to 50lbs.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test.
- Driving: Driving on a regular basis on behalf of the company is an essential function of this role. A valid drivers' license and safe driving history is required.
