Job Details

This position will be responsible for the processing, ripening and inventory control of Del Monte product at customer (vendor) warehouse ripening operations to meet customer requirements and expectations. Accountabilities:Work on site (at customer facilities), as a member of the ripening service team to ripen Del Monte Product (including bananas) to fulfill customer needs. Perform receiving functions (physical and in electronic systems) to receive Del Monte product and manage inventory as outlined in SOP procedures. Perform quality inspections of Del Monte product at receiving, document inspections, and handle rejections as needed in a timely fashion as outlined in SOP procedures. Perform ripening functions daily, to include, but not limited to, twice daily ripening room checks, physical handling of product cases from and to pallets and visual inspection of product to determine ripening progression.
