Job Details

Read and understand detailed work orders. Work with urgency while maintaining a professional attitude to meet customer demand and standards. Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by Atkore's Safety and Quality guidelines. Accurately completed required production and labor reporting paperwork. Set up over arms to specification. Tape or band all slit coils Monitor chips from chopper to scrap conveyor. Mark all slit steel for defects. Assist in feeding the steel through the slitter. Remove completed banded slit coils from recoiler to the turnstile with coil car. Other duties as assigned. What you'll bring: Manufacturing experience preferred. Within 3 months, you'll: Complete initial training. Be able to troubleshoot production issues.
