Medix Healthcare is HIRING NOW for a Medical Assistant for an ENT office in Phoenix, Arizona! These positions are full time, contract to hire, and a great opportunity to get your foot in the door!
Position Title: Medical Assistant (Back Office)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (85006) - FULLY ONSITE
Pay: $19-$20/hour (depending on years of experience)
Job Description:
- Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner
- Take the patients back to exam room
- Obtain patient vital signs
- Prepare paperwork pertaining to patient appointments
- Check patients in, verifying and updating necessary information
- Data entry into EMR and practice management systems- eClinicalWorks
- Enter patient demographics
- Scan medical charts into computer system
- Answer phones and schedule patient appointments maintaining the doctor's schedule according to the doctor's specifications
- Assist doctor with schedule and contribute to positive team environment
- Track and log incoming referrals and contact patients to schedule appointments
- Track and send outgoing medical records
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Must Haves:
- Medical Assistant Diploma
- High School Diploma or GED
- Open to new grad (MUST have externship under belt)
