Job Summary & Responsibilities:
- Unistrut, containment, and overhead support installations
- Measure and cut accurately, install level and plumb
- Read and follow drawings, instructions
- Prepare field notes, interpret engineering drawings in the field, and make recommendations for changes as required
- Coordinate and communicate activities with other employees, departments, and management
Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic tools, construction practices
- Carpentry, or Electrical experience
Qualifications & Skills:
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Must hold a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong work ethic, desire to learn
- Willing to train good candidates and place in the Union
- Education Level: High School/GED
- Experience: 4-6 years of relevant job experience (similar industry or essential duties)
- We are hiring in markets across the country - Willingness to Travel
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; lift up to 75 lbs.
Pay rates and benefit levels are determined by union classifications which are set by the union.
